Vanity tops:

I was drawn to Max Furniture for our double vanity unit for the bathroom as a friend told me about the good quality item she bought. All the vanity units use kiln dried wood to prevent warping and cracking in the humidity of a bathroom and each piece has a frame construction so they literally stand on their own two feet so to speak with no bolts and staples. I wanted good quality and that's what I got. Our unit is made of cherry wood and is topped with a Baltic brown granite complete with sealed splashbacks. The sinks are white porcelain ad are specially designed for no splashes - I was a bit skeptical on this one but it really is true! The storage space is huge with eight drawers and two cupboards in the middle and the detailed carving and scrollwork is simply lovely for a bathroom piece. Would highly recommend this item.

A double vanity unit is a new departure for us - we've been married for 45 years and never had one before but my husband decided he wanted something new when we refurbished our old bathroom. It was a little strange at first having someone by you when you cleaned your teeth but now I'm used to it and I'll never hve to wait for the bathroom again in a morning. The actual unit is lovely to look at - all cherry wood and beautiful carving along the top. We have eight (!) drawers and a good cupboard space in the middle. The top is high quality granite in a browny color while the actual sinks are white which made me very happy as this makes it so much easier to clean. Overall I have to say out new unit is just the right thing for us

PROS: Cherry wood with a frame construction for durability. Kiln dried wood to withstand the environment of a bathroom and stylish design and patterning. The carving is very good - clean and sharp and a lovely design. The molding on the doors and drawers makes the look of the item and enhances our bathroom very well. The granite top is a nice light brown - not too dark so the bathroom maintains an airy feel and the white sinks provide a good contrast. Each of us likes different aspects - I like the copious amounts of storage while my husband likes the no splash sink w/ reverse slop design (very 'new generation' apparently) so both of us are happy. CONS: Delivery timings - couldn't be in for a few of the suggested delivery days so we had to wait quite a long time for a suitable day. But good things come to those that wait and wait we did. OVERALL: Our double vanity was well worth the wait and we're extremely happy and satisfied overall - thanks!

Solid and beautiful piece of furniture, 5/18/2010

I use the word furniture because it is a most impressive vanity. You cannot get this quality and value anywhere. We have remodeled 4 bathrooms in the past year and have purchased our vanities from MAX. Guests have seen these vanities and ask where we got them and how much they cost. If you go to places like Lowes or Home Depot or Cabinets-to-Go you can't find anything that comes close to the value and craftmanship. We would recommend MAX for all your furniture needs. BTW we just purchased the 7 piece Getling Dining room set and can't wait to get it in our house.
